Kempinski, Nissan
Son of Malka and Mordechai. Nissan was born on July 18, 1952, in Poland. He immigrated to Israel with his family in 1957 and completed his studies at the Darski School. In 1972, Nissan enlisted in the IDF and served in the Signal Corps, where he served in the IDF during the Yom Kippur War, served in the IDF for two years and was discharged from the IDF with the rank of First Sergeant. While serving in Sinai, Nissan married and had a daughter. Nissan was a devoted and beloved family man. He was an athlete, and mostly loved soccer. Shortly after his discharge from the IDF, Nissan enlisted in the Israel Police with the rank of First Sergeant, who fell during his service on September 1, 1981. He was twenty-nine years old when he fell. He was buried in the military cemetery in Nahariya.
