Kellner, Zechariah

The only son of Esther and Jacob. He was born in Romania in 1927 and immigrated to Eretz Israel with his widowed mother, after World War II in 1947. Zacharia enlisted in the Naval Guards and was stationed at the Rosh Ha’ayin station. On 17 Iyar, May 7, 1947, when he was washing clothes at the Yarkon sources, he tripped, fell into the river and drowned. He was laid to rest in the old cemetery in Petah Tikva. Left a mother
