Keanan, Coral

Coral, Solly and Meir Keanan’s eldest daughter, was born on 24.6.1992. Coral began her studies at the Ganim school, and continued at the Nobel Prize-winning school in Kiryat Ono. When Coral was eleven, the family moved to Gedera. Coral went on to study at a high school and junior high school in Gedera, where she successfully completed 12 years of studies. Coral always radiated a joy of life and a desire to help others. She especially liked to care for babies and children, often helping her mother Solly in her kindergarten work and from a young age she dreamed of raising a family and raising children.
On November 15, 2010, Coral joined the IDF, serving in the IT Corps, the Computerization and Warning Department of the Home Front Command, and after completing her mandatory service she continued to serve in the IDF Corps, the Logistics and IT Division. First Sergeant Coral fell in her role on 1 May 1994. She was twenty-two years old when she fell. She was laid to rest in the military section of the cemetery in Gedera.
