Katzir, Ilan

Son of Hanna and Mordechai. Ilan was born on May 1, 1959, in Zichron Yaacov. On July 20, 1978, Ilan enlisted in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) for the Israel Air Force, where he continued to serve in the army for many years, during which he advanced to the rank of rabbi. He fell on 11 Av, 29.7.2004, and was buried at the Kiryat Motzkin cemetery in the military section, leaving a wife and two daughters.
