Katz (Shmeterling) Avraham (“Tonchio”)

Son of Yitzhak and Sarah. Born on October 22,1922 in Poland, he completed his studies in elementary school and immigrated to Israel at the end of 1947. He earned a living from carpentry and was drafted into the IDF in October 1948. He belonged to the Givati ​​Brigade during the War of Independence. While on reserve duty, on 19 May 1951, he fell in the line of duty. He was laid to rest in the cemetery in Kfar Saba. He servived by his wife and a child.
