Katz, Mordechai

Mordechai (Max), son of Yira and Dov Katz, was born on November 24, 1911 in Tel Aviv. He studied dentistry, opened a dental clinic in Tel Aviv, and devoted himself to his profession with all his heart. He served in the Israel Defense Forces during the War of Independence, but during his service he fell ill and was transferred to Beilinson Hospital where he died after surgery on the 8th of Adar, March 8, 1949 and was brought to rest in the cemetery in Nahalat Yitzhak. He was survived by his wife, Bryna, and a son, Yoram.
