Katz, Guy

Son of Freeda and Michael. Born in Ramat Gan on the 1st of Tammuz, July 2, 1992. At the age of 10, Guy fell ill with juvenile diabetes. In the following years, he lost many days of study, but he dealt well with the disease. Guy joined the IDF on February 23, 2011. Like his other family members, he asked to serve in the Israel Air Force. Thanks to his high grades, he was chosen for a cooperation unit that coordinates between the air force and the ground forces. Guy fell during his service on the 12th of Iyar, May 16, 2011. He was eighteen years old. He was laid to rest in the military section of the Kochav Yair cemetery. He was survived by parents and two brothers.
