Katsav, Aviad (“Avik”)


Son of Shalom and Esther. He was born on January 16, 1941 in Tel Aviv. Studied at the Max Payne Professional School and completed his studies there; He specialized in electrician. He was a member of the Hanoar Haoved movement, and when he was a member of the Gadna Air Corps, he also underwent various courses in the army. After compulsory service he prepared to join the Israeli merchant fleet; To this end he learned swimming. On the 6th of Tishrei 5721 (6 October 1961) he fell while fulfilling his duties and was brought to eternal rest in the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem.
