Kashkash, Yitzhak


Son of Amos and Vissi. Born in Tel Aviv on January 1, 1940. At the age of nine, he immigrated to Israel and completed his elementary studies at Beer-Yaakov, where he studied at a vocational school. After being released from the army, he occasionally went to reserve duty and even before the Six-Day War was called to the flag. He was a model soldier and served as an example for the company’s men. On the third day of the battles, he was wounded during the purification of Bir-Hasna in Sinai and on Friday, June 14, 1967, he died of his wounds, leaving a wife and two sons, the youngest of them both a year old at the fall of his father. His name was immortalized in the pamphlet “The Centurions.” His memory was raised in “The Iron Fist at Sinai” published by the brigade headquarters
