Karadav, Naif
Son of Hani and Rihanna. He was born on 14 December 1956 in the village of Beit Gan in the Galilee. A fifth-year-old Druze family with little means. However, the parents knew how to appreciate the blessing of enlightenment and tried to give their children as broad a education as possible. In 1961, Naif began to study at the elementary school in his native village and completed his studies in 1970. From there he went to the agricultural high school in Ramah in the Galilee. He progressed well in his studies, but when he finished 11th grade he saw it as his duty to go out and help support the family, one of whose sons served at the time in the IDF. In high school, Nayef was a member of the Gadna, and was interested in all the sports accepted by the youth in Israel, and was a football player who played in the school’s football team. The walls of the school were loved by the wide smile that was always flowing on his face, and by his strong and sociable character, he was a cheerful guy who loved to dance – especially in the group of dancers organized by the Histadrut. After his death – the songs of fame that he wrote in his memory. He was drafted into regular service in November 1974. In early 1975, he completed his first basic training course and was sent to a squad commanders’ course, and returned to his unit two months later, during which he achieved a sudden death: On September 25, 1975, Naif fell in the line of duty. , Left behind his parents, four brothers and a sister, and Nayef’s commander wrote to the bereaved family: “Nayef was one of the best of our fighters and always aspired to contribute from the best of his energies.”
