Moshe, son of Yitzhak and Jamila Kapluto, was born on July 24, 1933 in Turkey and immigrated to Eretz Israel in 1949. He found a job as a clerk in the Immigration Ministry where he worked until his enlistment in the army in September 1951. He served for a whole year until his last day, on the 1st of Elul 5713 (August 12, 1953), when he died and was put to rest at the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem.
