Kapach, Uri

Son of Gamil and Biniya. Born on August 8, 1958 in Ashkelon. Uri aspired to be an officer – he prepared for a basic officers ‘course, was accepted to the officers’ course and subsequently volunteered for the career army, but he did not finish the officers’ course. On 9 October 1978, he fell and was buried in the military cemetery in Ashkelon, leaving behind his parents, four brothers and three sisters. In his memory, the family built a synagogue in Ashkelon.
