Kamer, Yosef (Fuad)


Son of Yehezkel and Massouda. He was born on the 16th of Shevat 5704 (February 10, 1944) in the loss of Asher in Persia. Where he graduated from elementary school and completed two years of high school. He immigrated to Israel in 1958 alone, so that he could make all the preparations for his parents’ immigration. He was in various institutions of Youth Aliyah, and recently in Tivon. As a result of work and friendships at Sha’ar Ha’amakim, he came to Kibbutz Givat Oz of Hashomer Hatzair, because he belonged to this movement. He spent his last year in the army and went with his comrades to the Nahal Brigade, where he was drafted into the IDF in October 1961. His character was full of courage and kindness, devotion and loyalty. His personality and actions served as a model for every true soldier and paratrooper. A lot of suffering because of the social rifts that were discovered in the ward and always came out for others and wanted to improve the situation. On August 8, 1963, he volunteered to take up his post at the place of his friend, and at the time of his service he fell and was brought to eternal rest in the cemetery in Be’er Sheva. His kibbutz (Giv’at Oz) issued a pamphlet in his memory in “Thirty” for his death
