Kamal, Jihad


Ben Rabia and Salman. Born in 1951 in the Druze village of Daliyat al-Carmel. d he was active in Beit Hagefen, In 1969, after graduating from high school, Jehad joined the IDF and served in the Border Police until his release in 1972. He then moved to the Israel Police and completed his service in 1978 with the rank of Inspector in the Border Police. In 1980 he completed a course for company commanders and served two years in special positions in Lebanon, and after a few months he moved to the Civil Administration in the Nablus governorate and in 1984 received an operational position in the Gaza Strip where he served until April 1990. Jihad was assessed as an excellent officer, reached the rank of major, and his last position was deputy commander of the Gaza governorate, and he fell ill on 10 April 1990. His grave was cut down at the military cemetery in Isfiya, where he was thirty-nine years old. He is followed by a woman – Faiza, two children – Dahlia and Carmel, parents and ten brothers and sisters –
