Kalman, Karl-Heinz


During the Second World War, he enlisted in Palestine and was assigned to the Transport Corps. He served in Egypt and there, on the 24th of Iyar 5705 (May 7, 1945), died of an illness. He was laid to rest at the British military cemetery in Egypt. His name was immortalized in “The Book of Volunteerism,” in the book “Yizkor” by the Jabotinsky Institute and in the “Book of the Year of the Journalists” of 1946.
