Ben Luba and Reuven. He was born on February 27, 1972 in Georgia. His family immigrated to Israel when Yitzhak was three months old and settled in the city of Ashdod, where he grew up and was educated. He studied at the Hazon-Ya’akov elementary school and continued in the junior high and high school at the Comprehensive School in Ashdod, where he completed his studies. A handsome young man, loved by everyone, surrounded by many friends. Very talented. He drew many and drew various drawings, especially of famous figures. He invented cartoons, composed songs and loved to photograph landscapes and figures from life. Itzik liked exercise. His love of the sea was great and he spent much of his free time on the beach. In his spare time in the evenings he worked as a waiter in banquet halls and saved money in order to realize a great dream, buy a car and travel around the world. He excelled in the kindness he radiated in all directions, loved to help anyone who asked and was very devoted to his family. In the middle of November 1990, Yitzhak was drafted into the IDF, where he was transferred to the maintenance corps and was assigned to the paratroopers’ school as a kitchen officer on May 3, 1992. During a military vehicle ride the vehicle went down to the left margin, the driver lost control and in an attempt to return to the dirt road the vehicle was overturned and as a result Yitzhak was killed. He was laid to rest at the military cemetery in Ashdod. Survived by his parents, two sisters – Chava and Miriam and brother – Mordechai. In a letter of condolence to the bereaved family, the unit commander wrote: “… Itzik served for a year at the paratroop school and was known as a quiet and disciplined soldier. On behalf of the commanders of the Paratroopers School and its soldiers, I would like to express our sincere condolences … “The 11th grade teacher at the Ashdod 4th Comprehensive School wrote:” Itzik’s ability to contribute, peace of mind and wonder, especially in the subject of imagination and imagination. Is expressed in depth, especially on walks and on field days and all kinds of activities. His parents donated a Torah library to the synagogue in Ashdod.
