Kahanoff, and Vladislav

Kahanoff, and Vladislav

Son of Elvira and Olga, brother Liana. He was born on the 11th of Adar Alef 5744 (14.2.1984) in the city of Tashkent, capital of Uzbekistan, one of the former Soviet Union countries. A child as naughty as the children was a child, vigorous and full of joy of life. He spent the first six years of his studies at the “72” elementary school in his hometown. At the same time, he also studied at the school established by the Jewish Agency in Tashkent for the children of the Jewish community, so he became acquainted with the Jewish tradition and acquired the Hebrew language. In 1995, he immigrated to Israel with his mother and sister and the family set up her home in Holon. He continued his studies at the Mikveh Israel agricultural youth village in Holon, easily integrated with the children and bought many friends. They tell of a pleasant man who always took care of others and was ready to lend his hand to anyone. Vlad was displeased with quarrels, and if a dispute or an argument broke out, he would quickly and quickly convert them to joke. In the yearbook, it says: “Vlad is a nice and amazing guy / he organizes the games in the classroom. / All classes come, / and us with surprising grades.” Wald’s mother says he found it difficult to sit for a long time in one place, but he managed to channel the difficulty of physical activity. Vlad liked soccer very much and was interested in all the games – from the junior leagues to the World Cup. From an early age, he collected religiously pictures of soccer players from all over the world and concentrated them in large, neat albums. Wald’s relationship with his sister Yana was characterized by great love, and the two had full understanding. He was mature at his age and accepted the role of “man” at home. The responsibility he displayed as head of the family was respectful: he took care of the various arrangements, dealt with the problems and corrected all the mishaps. At the age of fourteen, he had already begun working and helping to support the family, and he had offered all the holidays and weekends. “My daughters” was fond of affectionately calling his mother and sister, and indeed, the support he gave them and the concern he showed them was unusual and rare in strength to a man his age. After completing his studies at Mikvah Yisrael, he continued to work. Shortly after his enlistment, he took a pre-military and advanced training course, and on 25 December 2002, he was stationed in the logistics corps and served in the Mavi (the center of the flying organization) as a truck driver, who was very fond of his commanders and friends. He told us about his service and his role, which often involved dangers, and after his fall, he learned about his difficult experience during the course of one of the missions He had a big plan for the period after the liberation: he wanted to fly abroad, help his mother to buy an apartment, and dreamed of leading a brother Character canopy. Because of his strong commitment to his family and the desire to continue helping his economy, he tried to obtain a work permit from his commanders, and he succeeded in getting it. Two days before his fall, he managed to tell his commander about the job interview he was expecting in a private company, and won his blessing. Vlad was a little over twenty when merciless death tore him from the loving arms of his relatives. On June 19, 2004, when he returned home for a Shabbat vacation, he and his friends went to the shore of the “rock” in Bat Yam, and when they were about to return home they heard screams and cries for help from a girl who had fallen into trouble at sea. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Holon, where he assumed a mother, a father and a sister, and after his fall he was promoted to the rank of sergeant, and many friends left him behind, and in his estate There are still photographs that capture the Yaffa moments he experienced with them, and Vlad left the world at a young ageThus, he did not realize the huge potential that lay in it. He did so little to do, but all that he did was etched into the hearts of his loved ones, who forever create his memory. Vlad’s mother parted from him in the poem she wrote: “If it were possible to return that day / I would stop for you / In my body I would block the door / kneel / and implore you not to leave me. You go to the witness … / Every evening expect you to answer / knock on the door, go into your house / embrace me, ask me for my health / ask me to eat my food / I can hug you, kiss you, / look in your eyes, / listen again to your voice / beat loved and familiar. The other world, / your soul has found rest in heaven! ” A poem in memory of Vlad, written by his friends (also written in Russian): “The place where you are / where there is no more pain / And our voice is not heard / The place where you are / surrounded by white flowers / And you are not afraid of heights … You have been brave and strong. / When the summer comes again / As a sun that will shine forever. // Our star will be for us Heaven and water / We will turn our prayer to you! / Though you are far away and difficult without us. The separation from you is beyond our understanding / We can not return you to us / God will protect you, / And we will send our love to you! / Time will not be able to dry our tears, / Your beloved image will remain forever in our hearts! ” (This page is part of the Yizkor memorial project held by the Ministry of Defense)
