Kadouri, Shauli


The eldest son of Sarah and Moses, the brother of Sagi. He was born on February 3, 1970 in Kibbutz Shoval. He grew up in his kibbutz, where he successfully completed his studies in a general humanistic track. At the end of October 1989, Shauli enlisted in the IDF, where he began his career as a commander of a platoon, a platoon commander, a company commander, and finally a commander of a company in the 50th Battalion. As an outstanding and high quality officer, responsible, mature and very professional, with a high personal ability, reliable and dedicated, which is a personal example of his subordinates. In late October 1992 he joined the ranks of the permanent army. Who was seriously injured in a car accident on June 15, 1994, on the road between the Beit Rimon junction and the Muvil junction. Five days later, on the 20th of Tammuz 5754 (20.6.1994), Shauli died of his wounds. He was laid to rest in the cemetery in his kibbutz, Shoval. He was twenty-four years old when he fell. After his death, he was promoted to captain. Survived by his parents and brother. In a condolence letter to the family, Chief of Staff Ehud Barak wrote: “Perhaps he was the commander of Company B in the 50th Battalion.
