Kadouri and Yaakov

Kadouri and Yaakov

Son of Yosef and Hasina. He was born in 1947 in Basra, Iraq, and immigrated to Israel with his family in 1951. He studied at the She’arim School in the David Camp and was a member of the Hanoar Haoved movement, and was interested in everything around him. He was a good swimmer, and his ability to overcome the waves of the sea, as an excellent swimmer, helped him save, more than once, people who drifted into the depths. In addition, he liked to paint and look at ancient art objects, and he was a devoted son to his parents and very attached to them. He was always conscientious and did not refuse to help others, and was always concerned about the difficulties he faced, and was drafted into the IDF at the end of February 1965 and after his regular service he was called Reserve duty. On August 14, 1971, he fell during his service. He was laid to rest at the military cemetery in Haifa. Friends of the family in Israel and abroad planted trees in his memory.
