Kadosh, Nissim (Miko)
Son of Yosef and Sarah. He was born on May 13, 1968 in Tel Aviv. He completed his studies at the Bavli elementary school, studied in the junior high school at Ironi Dalet High School, and completed his high school studies in electrical engineering at the Max Payne High School. For seven years he played football in the Shimshon Tel Aviv team as a defender and midfielder, and he was very fond of animals and especially of horses, . He successfully completed basic training in Carmiel and met all the requirements for the satisfaction of his commanders. Upon completion of basic training, he moved to serve as a teacher. During this period, Nissim was accepted as a thinking person, successfully coping with the material and creating a sense of security among his commanders, who would meet the level of achievement required to complete the course. Near Yom Kippur, he and his friends went on a study tour throughout the Galilee. During the tour he showed interest and made sure to listen to explanations everywhere. At the end of the trip Nissim went on a vacation, from which he did not return. Nissim fell during his service on the 11th of Tishrei 5748 (4 October 1987) and was brought to eternal rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul. Survived by his parents and sister Margalit. His commanders noted that “Nissim Kadosh was a good soldier, disciplined, quiet and modest and fulfilled his role to the satisfaction of his commanders.”
