Kadmon, Naama (“Na’amun”)


Daughter of Bilha and Eliezer. She was born on April 25, 1968 in Kiryat Gat. In 1969 the family moved to Jerusalem and two years later moved to Rishon Letzion. Naama did her elementary studies at the Shalmon School and her high school studies at the Reali Gymnasium in Rishon Letzion. At an early age she began to dance ballet, an occupation that was her main source of pleasure. In the course of time, she danced in the Rishon Letzion Dance Company until her enlistment in the army, and studied at the Hebrew Gymnasium in the biological track. Copies of this work were sent to a number of places in the country and abroad and received many accolades. In a biotope lecture, she appeared before a forum of 80 biology teachers and amazed them with her knowledge of the subject. Prior to her enlistment, she worked at the Municipal Museum of Rishon Le-Zion in collecting accessories from the days of the Biluim, and received compliments on her peace of mind and her beauty, receiving the expressions of love and compliments in embarrassment and modesty, She prepared the choreography for the dance that formed the main musical, and applied them all with extraordinary skill. For her matriculation exam in gymnastics she and her friend made a dance, the sad clown who won first place in the whole district. Na’ama was drafted into the IDF in late 1986. She was employed as an educational noncom in a unit in the south of the country, but made great efforts to move to the Golani reconnaissance unit, where she was very involved in educational and cultural activities. She fell in the course of her duties on the 7th of Adar 5748 (February 25, 1988) at the end of a series of education in Nahal Peretz, a stone that deteriorated and damaged her head and was brought to rest in the military cemetery in Rishon Letzion And was accompanied by her parents, brother and sister – Shay and Gili A magnificent observation point was erected in memory of Naama on Mount Zevaim in the desert.
