Kaddari (Tartarine), Bezalel (Tzali)

Son of Sarah and Abraham, was born on October 3, 1913, in the city of Odessa, Russia, where he moved to Kishinev, where he studied at the Gymnasium and joined the Hashomer Hatzair movement. He immigrated to Israel with a group that immigrated to Israel on foot through the many borders, and at the age of 21. At first he worked as a gardener, agricultural laborer, as a guard in the citrus orchards of Tel Mond and his nurseries, and during that time he acquired experience in agronomy and horticulture.
