Kadar, Yehoshua (“Shuka”, “Shuki”)


Yehoshua, son of Chefetz and Aliza Kadar, was born in Egypt in 1944. After the family immigrated to Israel in 1952, he studied in Moshav Negev in the Negev and then completed his high school studies at the Eshel Hanasi agricultural school near Beer-Sheva, and by nature he was timid and shy. On the first day of the Six-Day War, on the 27th of Iyar 5727 (June 6, 1967), Yehoshua was killed. He was buried in the military cemetery in Bari and later moved to the eternal rest of the military cemetery in Be’er Sheva.
