Kachlon, Rami

Rami, the eldest son of Aliza and Yosef Kahlon, was born in Hadera in 1975. On August 9, 1993, Rami enlisted in the Paratroopers Brigade, and after completing compulsory military service he continued to serve in the unit. Rami married Pnina and they lived in Hadera with their children. Israel launched Operation Tzuk Eitan against Hamas in the Gaza Strip on 8 July 2014 with aerial bombardments, and Rami was killed in Operation Tzuk Eitan on 28 Tamuz, July 26, 2014, at the age of thirty-nine. He was buried in the military cemetery in Hadera. He left behind his wife, two sons, two daughters and four brothers.
