Kablan, Vasim

Son of Hazran and Adel, was born on 18 December 1980 in the village of Beit Jann. Brother to Kanji, Lutfi, Nahi and Anwar. Wassim grew up in the Druze village in the heart of the Meron Nature Reserve, with a warm, loving, supportive, respectful and dignified family. He was killed in the course of his duties on June 21, 2003, about a month before his release. In the cemetery in Beit Jann, thousands accompanied him on his last journey.
