Son of Rogina and Nawaf. He was born on January 1, 1962 in the village of Kaabiya. Salah was born on the white rocky mountain and grew up among the village paths of Kaabiyeh. From childhood he had become familiar with the traces of animals and bird flight. Nature was his home. Saleh attended elementary school in his village and continued to study at the high school in Daliat al-Carmel. He loved human studies and he knew many poems by Bialik, Tchernichovsky and Rachel. Saleh liked to listen to songs by Farid al-Atrash and Umm Kulthum, as well as by Ofra Haza and Zohar Argov. From the age of ten he worked in every job in his village. He drove a tractor, went to plow and harvest in the family fields and worked in the small vegetable garden near the house. At the age of 20, he married his cousin Fatahia, and nine months later their eldest son Zaid was born.
