Julie, Meir


Son of Rachel and Aaron. Meir was born in Israel on April 18, 1958. Was the eldest son of a family of six. He studied at the “Shivtei Israel” elementary school in Jaffa and then studied at a vocational school, and Meir was a quiet, polite man, loved by his family and friends, and was an outstanding athlete who loved judo and karate and received many prizes and medals in sports competitions. And even abroad. Meir volunteered to serve in the Border Police as part of compulsory service, and at the end of his regular service he signed a permanent order. He served as a combat soldier in the Company and in the Shfela region, and in 1983 he moved to the Southern Commandos, where he was a combat driver, and lived in Kiryat Malachi, where he was highly motivated and performed all his functions in the best possible way.
