Josetto, Shmuel (“Shmulik”)


Son of Nissim and Naomi. He was born on February 20, 1951 in Jaffa and studied at the Weizmann School and the ORT school in Jaffa. In his youth he was a member of Maccabi and was active as a basketball player. He was devoted and loyal to his friends in the association and during his vacations he went to work to help his parents. After completing his studies at the ORT school, he found work in the “Ford” garage and worked there until he was drafted. Shmulik was drafted into the IDF at the beginning of November 1968 and was a good and disciplined soldier, who was kind and devoted to his friends, modest in his ways and devoted to his parents and the IDF. On August 13, 1969, he fell in the area of ​​the Suez Canal in the shelling of the enemy and was brought to eternal rest in the Kiryat Shaul cemetery
