Josephson, Gedalyahu (Gustav)

Son of-Hava and Moshe-Yehoshua was born on March 15, 1920, in the city of Barelad, Romania, where he lived in Bucharest at his parents’ home and graduated from a high school in 1943. Gedalia immigrated to Israel in 1946, but his parents remained abroad.on Independence war, he served in engineering headquarters, and on 14 June 1948 he drove on a mine in Einot and was killed on the spot. Was brought to rest at the military cemetery in Rehovot.
