Jonah, Michael


Son of Genet and David Hershko, was born in 1929 in the city of Ploiesti, Romania. He graduated from elementary school and then studied electricity. In 1944 he immigrated to Israel and worked as an electrician at Kibbutz Ein Hamifratz. During the War of Independence, he was drafted into the IDF and served in the Givati ​​Brigade, and Michael fell during a tour to Nitzanim on the 29th of Iyar 5708 (7.6.1948) and was brought to eternal rest in the cemetery in Nitzanim.
