Jannah, Marian

Marian, daughter of Sigal and Herzl Jannah, was born in 1980 in Ashdod. Shortly after her birth, her parents separated, and Marian and her mother moved to Beit Shemesh. In November 1999, Marian enlisted in the IDF and served in the Jerusalem Brigade, first as a liaison liaison officer and later as a clerk in the Ordnance Division. Marian was critically injured in a road accident and was hospitalized at Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem, where she spent two and a half weeks fighting for her life, and on December 11, 2000, she died at the age of 20. After her death she was raised to the rank of sergeant. She was laid to rest in the cemetery in Beit Shemesh.
