Janekis, Herman
Son of Roman and Brunia. He was born on May 27, 1940, and when he was two years old, he died from his father, who fought in the ranks of the Red Army against the Germans. After the war he moved with his mother to the city of Vilna, where he graduated from high school. In 1956 he moved to Poland with his mother and stepfather, and from there immigrated to Israel as part of the “Youth Aliya” in 1957. His outstanding orientation towards technical subjects led him to the Air Force Technical School in Haifa, where he successfully completed his studies. February 1960 and assigned to the Air Force. After a training period, he joined the ranks of the instructors at the technical school, rose to the ranks and positions, and recently served as head of the school’s equipment and control department. He was involved in the professional organization of this trend and in teaching the electricity profession. In order to expand his knowledge, he was sent on behalf of the IDF to the School of Engineering, and Hermann was a disciplined and disciplined soldier who understood his role and performed it with distinction. On 26.4.1973, Rabbi Hermann fell during his service and was brought To rest forever in the military cemetery in Haifa. He left behind a wife and three children
