Son of Moshe and Tova. He was born on 26 August 1951 in Herzliya. Ze’ev was drafted into the IDF in early May 1969 and assigned to the Ordnance Corps, and after completing basic training, he was assigned to the military boarding school and served as a weapon. In 1972 he was discharged from regular service, and his commanders noted in his release card that his behavior was very good and that he was a disciplined soldier dedicated to his work, who excelled in his work, After his release, he traveled to Canada to visit relatives and a friend Where he served for more than a year, volunteered for the career army, volunteered for the navy and was approved for a period of time, serving in the Red Sea on one of the navy’s ships. He was laid to rest in the cemetery in Herzliya. Survived by his parents and sister. In a letter of condolence to the bereaved family, his commander wrote: “Ze’ev served a long period of time in my unit on the deck of the Batsheva Brigade and contributed greatly to serving in the unit. He satisfied his commanders and did above and beyond what was acceptable. “To commemorate his name, his parents donated a memorial plaque to the Great Synagogue in Ra’anana.
