Jacques, Yoel

Son of Jacob and Hannah (me). Was born on the 17th of Adar 5747 (17.3.1947) in Givat Brenner. He was a member of the “Hanoar Haoved Vehalomed” movement and belonged to HaPoel, where he was a member of the Department of Natural History and knew the country and everything in it. In November 1965 he was drafted into the IDF and volunteered for the paratroopers’ paratroopers, and as he was loved by all of them. His friends in civilian life were acceptable to the members of his unit who would have listened to him in his balanced opinion and considered him. In the middle of his regular service, on the 23rd of Iyar 5727 (May 23, 1967), he fell and was brought to eternal rest in the cemetery at Givat Brenner.
