Jacobson, Shmuel-Yehoshua
Son of Avraham-Getzel and Chaya-Miriam. He was born on May 21, 1936, in Tel Aviv. Was drafted into the IDF in October 1952. He was calm in spirit but daring in his soul, and these qualities brought him to the ranks of officers in his unit, and reached the rank of lieutenant, fell in battle around Qalqiliya on Friday, 10.10.1956 and was laid to rest in the military cemetery On Mount Hermonot (Givat Shaul) in Jerusalem. In Uri Milstein’s book “Wars of the Paratroopers,” his memory was raised.
