Sally was very attached to her family, especially to her little nephews, whom she had spoiled at every opportunity. At the beginning of December 1990 she was drafted into the army, and after completing her basic training she was assigned to the Air Force and sent to the Haifa Technical School, where she left the course before completing her studies. She liked everything and gathered many friends around her. As her commander testified: “In our memory is the broad smile, warmth and kindness that was used to project the environment and its desire to help and help others.” Sally aspired to pursue higher education after her military service, an ambition she had not realized. On 9.8.1991 she fell during her service and was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Lod, leaving two parents – Jacob and Yossi and three sisters – Flora, Aliza and Zahava.
