Jacob, Ephraim

Was born on October 5, 1948, in Bombay, India. Ephraim immigrated to Israel and studied Hebrew in the ulpan of Kibbutz Palmachim. Moved to Ashdod where he met Nina, who later became his wife, and when the Yom Kippur War broke out Ephraim volunteered to work on a truck. On February 3, 1981, during his training in reserve duty, Ephraim fell in the line of duty and was brought to eternal rest in the military cemetery in Lod. He left behind a wife and daughter, parents, two brothers and a sister.
