Ivgy, Shimon

Shimon, son of Tammu and Avraham Ivgy, was born on the 24th of Av 5765 (22.8.1965) in Dimona. Shimon joined the IDF on August 16, 1984. He was married to Edna Asayag. Shimon served in the standing army at the Israel Air Force Air Defense School. He fell in the line of duty on the 24th of Adar (21 March 2017), at the age of fifty-two. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Dimona. He is survived by a wife, two sons, parents, a brother and three sisters.
