Itzhak, Yitzhak (Davicho)


Son of Marcela and Moshe Chaim, was born on the 27th of Sivan, June 15, 1928, in the city of Dupnitsa, Bulgaria. He attended a Hebrew school and graduated from a high school. Yitzhak immigrated to Israel on the Pan York and at the beginning of the War of Independence volunteered for the Israel Defense Forces. Yitzhak served in the Alexandroni Brigade and fulfilled his duty conscientiously throughout his army service until he was wounded at Ramat Hakovesh on, January 6, 1949 and died at Tel Hashomer Hospital on 8th of Tevet, January 9, 1949 and was laid to eternal rest in the military cemetery in Nahalat Yitzhak.
