Itach, Yaakov

Son of Shimon and Hannah. He was born on January 17, 1948 in Oran, Algeria. As a baby, the family immigrated to Israel. He attended the Tachkemoni religious elementary school in Tiberias. He was a craftsman by profession in Afikim. From the age of 15 he was forced to work, to support his family – his sick parents and younger siblings, and therefore he could not continue his studies – he belonged to a youth club and was admired and admired by all his critics.
