Isserzon, Meir
Son of Rachel and Moshe David, was born in 1927 in Iasi, Romania, and immigrated to Israel on February 15, 1947. Until his arrival in Israel he knew wandering and suffering. He joined the “HaShomer HaTzair” Zikim kibbutz and joined the “Yiftah” brigade of the Palmach, and he went south with him and fought in the Negev areas on October 5, 1948. He fell in battle east of Ruhama and was buried in Mishmar Hanegev. On the 15th of Tishrei 5710 (15.10.1949) he was laid to rest in the military cemetery at Nahalat Yitzhak.
