Iss, Eyal
Son of Ronit and Yom Tov. He was born on March 20, 1974, in Herzliya. Eyal began his studies at Wolfson Elementary School and five years later moved to Gordon School. He went on to the junior high school “Yad Giora” and after three years moved to ORT school. For a year he studied electrical construction, and began to work as an emissary in a shipping company and in odd jobs until his induction into the IDF. After successfully completing the basic basic training course, he was sent to the Symbols Course and was assigned as a squad commander. He was a commander and a friend of his soldiers, modest, quiet and caring. Eyal gave him confidence and calm, and was popular among his friends and commanders. He was given a special gift on the evening of the regiment, which took place a few days before they fell. On July 19, 1995, Eyal fell in the line of duty in a traffic accident near the Rishpon Junction. He was twenty-one years old when he fell. Eyal was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Herzliya.
