Israeli, Dan
Son of Hanna and Shlomo, was born on 17.2.1960 in Tel Aviv. Dan began studying at the Tachkemoni elementary school and completed his elementary studies at the Ahad Ha’am school. He studied diligently, aspired to continue his studies in technical subjects and went to study for one year at the Shevach High School in Tel Aviv. At the suggestion of his parents, Dan went to study at the IAF Technical School in Haifa. He completed his studies and received an excellent matriculation certificate. Danny was a quiet boy, loved by his friends, loved to travel and read books a lot. He sought to improve his knowledge of English, and during his free time he read English literature. In May 1979 he was drafted to serve in the Israel Defense Forces, where he was assigned to an IAF base in the Kfir aircraft department. In March 1981, Dan rose to the rank of sergeant.
