Israel, Robert

Son of Menachem and Esther. He was born on July 21, 1945 in Casablanca, Morocco. He studied in an elementary school in his hometown and after immigrating to Israel in 1956 he continued his studies in Kiryat Gat and studied at the youth center’s evening classes. He was a member of Hashomer Hatzair in Kiryat Gat and also belonged to Hapoel. In November 1962 he was drafted into the IDF and fell in the course of his duty on 3/9/1964 and was brought to eternal rest in the civil cemetery in Kiryat Gat.
