Israel, Eliahu

Son of Daniel and Sultana. He was born in 1938 in Izmir, Turkey, where he studied at the Alliance school in Izmir and immigrated to Israel in 1949. He studied at the Meir Shfeya School and was a member of the Hapoel sports association in Rishon LeZion and played in her soccer team. And was assigned to the Armored Corps. After his discharge from regular service he was called for periods of reserve service. On December 26, 1970, he was wounded by enemy activity and died of his wounds. He was laid to rest in the cemetery in Rishon Letzion.
