Isaac
Son of Miriam and Shalom, was born in 1923 in the city of Aden and immigrated to Israel with his parents in 1924. The family settled in the Sha’arayim neighborhood of Rehovot, where Yitzhak studied in the Talmud Torah. At a young age he was forced to leave school because of his parents’ poor economic situation and began to work as a laborer in the orchard. When he was 13, he joined the Hanoar Haoved movement, had an active member and continued his studies in evening classes. In 1942, he enlisted as a guard and guard in Sharona and Wilhelma.
