Intertor, Yaakov


Son of Rachel and Nechemiah, was born on the 7th of Tevet, December 26, 1904, in Przemyśl, in eastern Galicia, one of the unknown soldiers who served the nation and the homeland. He studied in a high school and immigrated to Israel in 1933. Yaakov was a veteran member of the Haganah, served for several years as a policeman and participated in farming in Einat and Ben Shemen. During the War of Independence, he served in the army among the veterans of the “Kiryati” Brigade, and on the 2nd of Av, August 7, 1948, during his service he was injured and fell next to a checkpoint in Jaffa and was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Nahalat Yizchak.
