David, son of Tova and Gershon, was born on July 6, 1952, in the village of Yavetz. David was drafted into the IDF in mid-March 1970 and assigned to the Infantry Corps, and after completing his basic training course, David was assigned to the paratroopers, where he earned the name of a responsible, energetic and dedicated soldier. “David loved life in the army, and his parents, with whom he maintained close correspondence during the period of his army service, proudly stated that he had succeeded in acquiring many members of the unit and those friends who confirmed his remarks during his frequent visits to his home. On October 17, 1973, during a battle in the area of ​​the Chinese Farm, He was hit by a shell and was killed on the spot. He was brought to eternal rest in the cemetery in the village of Yavetz. Survived by his parents and sister. After his fall, he was promoted to First Sergeant.
