In the morning he served at his base, and in the afternoon he explained the subject of computer systems design. On one of these days, Yigal was released from his base with the whole unit earlier. The weather was pleasant and Yigal and his friends went to the beach in Tel Aviv. While they were at the beach, he saw a child who was in danger of being drowned and Yigal entered the water to save him. Although he was an excellent swimmer, he could not resist the drift of water, so he stood with his head in the water and lifted the boy from the water to call for help. Passersby rushed to save them, but managed to save the child alone. His friends had trouble digesting the disaster. To this day, they come to the parents’ home, and there is no birthday or memorial day for them that does not visit their parents or their graves.
