Ilovitz, Ben-Zion (Benny)

Son of Frida and Yosef, was born on October 12, 1925, in the city of Piatra, the Moldavia region of Romania, and after graduating from eight high school classes he began to work as a photographer. And immigrated to Israel in 1948. son of-Zion joined the IDF, served in the Alexandroni Brigade and fell in battle near Ein Shemer on October 28, 1948. When the Little Triangle was transferred to Israel on August 9, 1949, the remains of four soldiers were found among them and brought to rest in a mass grave in the military cemetery in Afula.
